They tell us that it’s just as important to exercise the mind as it is to exercise the body which is a perfect way to help you learn and become a fast thinker in tricky situations. The cerebellum is one of the most complicated parts of the human body that controls our coordination, motor controls and sensory perception. This part of the brain works hand in hand with the motor neurons that send messages to and from your muscles and the cerebellum.

The cerebellum is known as the second largest part of your brain and has many important functions. Know as the little brain it is actually a second part of the main brain that sits on the posterior side. The cerebellum is responsible for helping us learn new motor skill like musical instruments or how to play sports. Doing exercises for you cerebellum will help you become more coordinated over time as well as helping the elderly keep their coordination.

Exercise your cerebellum by doing easy motor skills such as standing on your tiptoes or throwing a ball and then catching it. Balancing exercises are also a great way to start working and exercising your cerebellum. The brain training exercises in older adults is something that needs to be constant. You will see many elderly people sitting and doing crossword puzzles however this is not enough because the brain does so much more than recognize words. You need to exercise all aspects of your brain when both young and old so that you can learn as much as possible and be the best person you can possible be.
