January is cervical cancer awareness month. My highest prayer and supplication from God (Allah) to bless all the women diagnosed with cervical cancer them with peace, happiness and prosperous health. I would like to say thank you to farahpinklady for letting me post it to my blog with permission.
The cervix is a small shaped located at the top of the vagina. It’s the entrance to the uterus. All cervical cancer is caused by infection with human papilloma virus (HPV). HPV can damage the cells that line with the cervix. The damage occurs in the genes of the cells, which may lead to cervical cancer. HPV is a very common infection among sexually active women. But small number of women with HPV develop cervical cancer.
When you smoke you’re likely to develop cervical abnormality if infected with HPV. Women infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) are also at higher risk. Here’s the symptoms: Discolored vaginal discharge, Spotting after sex, Prolonged menstrual bleeding, Pelvic pain, Loss of appetite, Weight loss, decrease in red blood cell.
Good nutrition and regular exercise routine can help keep cancer cells from developing and spreading. If you’re attempting to prevent cancer to keep it from spreading then you engaging in light to moderate exercise. If you do need to go through a procedure to help treat your cancer, and you feeling better and given the okay by your doctor then you start moderate stretching and exercise program. This will help you have more energy throughout the day.
